Ellis Paul is an American singer-songwriter and folk musician originally from Presque Isle, Maine. As a key figure in the Boston school of songwriting, he performs a literate, provocative, and urbanely romantic style of folk-pop music. His work helped ignite the folk revival of the 1990s, bridging the gap between modern folk sounds and the populist traditions of Woody Guthrie and Pete Seeger.
