George Gershwin was an American composer and pianist whose music spanned jazz, popular, and classical styles. His best-known catalog includes orchestral works such as Rhapsody in Blue and An American in Paris, alongside his Piano Concerto. Gershwin authored popular songs and jazz standards including Swanee, Fascinating Rhythm, Embraceable You, and I Got Rhythm.
