John Cardon Debney is an American composer and conductor who creates scores for film, television, and video games. His musical work spans a wide range of genres, including comedy, horror, science fiction, thriller, fantasy, and action-adventure. As a long-time collaborator with Disney, Debney has written music for the company's films, television series, and theme parks. Throughout his career, he has also frequently collaborated with film directors such as Brian Robbins, Jon Favreau, Garry Marshall, Tom Shadyac, Peter Hyams, Mark Dindal, and Brad Anderson.
