Mark Hummel is an American blues harmonica player, vocalist, songwriter, and long-time bandleader of the Blues Survivors. Typically identified with West Coast blues, he is also proficient in Delta blues, Chicago blues, swing, and jazz styles. Since 1991, Hummel has produced and performed in the Blues Harmonica Blowout tour. Beyond the Blues Survivors, he has played with the Golden State Lone Star Revue and the rock blues side group the FlashBacks. Since 2021, he has collaborated on the video podcast Mark Hummel's Harmonica Party.
