Mavado, whose real name is David Constantine Brooks, is a Jamaican dancehall singer. In 2011, he signed with DJ Khaled's record label, We the Best Music Group, which was then an imprint of Cash Money and Republic Records. Throughout his time with the label, Mavado guest performed on each of DJ Khaled's studio albums, starting with We the Best Forever in 2011, until he parted ways with the group before the 2021 release of Khaled Khaled. He also released the single "Give It All to Me" in 2013 to promote a major label studio album.
