Ronny Chieng is an American comedian and actor who serves as a senior correspondent and rotating host on Comedy Central's The Daily Show. He is also the creator and star of the sitcom Ronny Chieng: International Student. Born in Johor, Malaysia, he spent his youth there and in Singapore before earning a bachelor's degree in laws from the University of Melbourne and a post-graduate diploma in legal practice from the Australian National University. He is active in the entertainment industry of Australia and the United States.
