Sam Morrison is an American jazz saxophonist, flutist, and composer. In 1975, he replaced Sonny Fortune in Miles Davis's band. Davis supposedly praised his performance, stating that he had not heard that much fire on the saxophone since 'Trane was in his band. Morrison is of partly Ukrainian heritage, with two of his grandparents originating in Pereiaslav, near Kyiv. Audiences can expect a performance by this jazz musician.
