Samuel Stephen Forbert, performing as Steve Forbert, is an American pop and folk singer-songwriter. He has released twenty-one studio albums and three live albums. His first four albums charted on the Billboard 200, with Jackrabbit Slim certified gold in Canada. His 1979 song "Romeo's Tune" reached number 11 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and number 13 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart. In 2004, his album Any Old Time was nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Traditional Folk category.
