Thomas Joseph Miller, who performed under the professional name Tom Verlaine, was an American singer, guitarist, and songwriter. Living from 1949 to 2023, he is most notable for his work as the frontman of the New York City rock band Television. As an artist, his musical output centered on his roles as a guitarist, singer, and songwriter, particularly through his work with the New York rock group.
