Faster Pussycat is an American hard rock and glam metal band from Los Angeles. Formed in 1985 by vocalist Taime Downe, guitarists Greg Steele and Brent Muscat, and bassist Kelly Nickels, the group became a successful act during the late 1980s and early 1990s, selling over two million records worldwide. After breaking up in 1993, the band reformed in 2001. Throughout various lineup changes, Downe has remained the sole constant member. The band's discography includes four studio albums released between 1987 and 2006.
