Floater is an American rock band based in Portland, Oregon. Started in 1993 by Robert Wynia, Peter Cornett, and David Amador, the group is recognized for its progressive concept albums, stylized storytelling, and intense live performances. Over their career, they have built a devoted fanbase and appeared as a musical guest on OPB radio's Live Wire Radio. Additionally, Floater was voted "Best Band" in the Willamette Week "Best of Portland" reader's poll in both 2009 and 2010.
