Inspiral Carpets are an English alternative rock band originally formed in Oldham in 1983. Associated with the late-1980s and early-1990s Madchester movement, the group is known for a sound characterized by organs, distorted guitars, and psychedelic rock influences. The band's most successful line-up featured frontman Tom Hingley, drummer Craig Gill, guitarist Graham Lambert, bassist Martyn Walsh, and keyboardist Clint Boon. Audiences attending their performances can expect to experience the distinctive musical style of this British rock act.
