Mobb Deep was an American hip-hop duo formed in Queens, New York, in 1990. Consisting of rappers, songwriters, and record producers Prodigy and Havoc, they are considered among the most influential artists in East Coast hip-hop. Known for their dark and hardcore delivery, the duo sold over three million records. Their best-known albums are The Infamous, Hell on Earth, and Murda Muzik, and their most successful singles include "Shook Ones" and "Survival of the Fittest."
