Parachute is an American pop rock band from Charlottesville, Virginia. Formed in 2006, the band released their major-label debut album, Losing Sleep, in 2009. They followed this with their second album, The Way It Was, in 2011 and their third album, Overnight, in 2013. Vanguard Records released their fourth album, Wide Awake, in March 2016, and the band independently released their fifth album, Parachute, in May 2019.
