# Sun Kil Moon

Sun Kil Moon is an American folk rock act from San Francisco, California. Founded in 2002, the project was initially a continuation of the defunct indie rock band Red House Painters. Today, Sun Kil Moon is the primary recording moniker of vocalist and guitarist Mark Kozelek. The project is named after the Korean boxer Sung-Kil Moon. Those attending a performance will experience a live presentation of this folk rock project, centered around the musical work of Kozelek.
