Texas Is the Reason is an American post-hardcore band. The group was founded in 1994 by Norman Brannon, a former guitarist for Shelter, and Chris Daly, a former drummer for 108. Although the band disbanded in 1997, they later held brief reunions in 2006 and from 2012 to 2013. Texas Is the Reason reformed again in 2025, with plans entering 2026.
