The Dip is an American heavy soul, funk, and rhythm and blues band based in Seattle. The ensemble was formed in 2013 by music students at the University of Washington. In their live performances, the band combines typical pop instrumentation with a three-part horn section. They have released three full-length albums as well as two instrumental EPs. Audiences attending their shows can expect to see a live performance of funk and rhythm and blues music featuring this horn-driven sound.
