The Empty Pockets is an American rock and roll band from Chicago, Illinois. Under their previous name, Josh & The Empty Pockets, the band released a Buddy Holly Tribute album in 2007 and the album Under the Bed in 2008. After Erika Brett was featured on two of those songs, she joined the lineup, prompting the band to change its name to The Empty Pockets. The band has also released two EPs, including one featuring holiday songs.
