Trouble is an American doom metal band from Chicago, Illinois, formed in 1978. Widely regarded as one of the pioneers of the doom metal genre, the band is frequently categorized as one of its "big four" alongside Candlemass, Pentagram, and Saint Vitus. Trouble established a distinct musical style by blending the influences of British heavy metal acts like Black Sabbath and Judas Priest with elements of 1960s psychedelic rock.
