NATIONAL ERASMUS GAMES - EVENT DESCRIPTION

The National Erasmus Games is a national sports competition that brings together Erasmus and international students from across Romania for a dynamic weekend full of sports, teamwork, and intercultural exchange. The event promotes fair play, healthy competition, and community spirit, offering participants the opportunity to represent their Local Section while connecting with students from other cities.

Participants may select a maximum of two sports.
You may register with your full team; however, each team member must complete the registration form individually.
Alternatively, you may register individually, and the organizers will assign you to a team.

Participation Fee:

550 RON – Discounted price for participants holding a valid ESNcard
580 RON – Regular price

The fee covers all essential aspects of the event so participants can fully enjoy the National Erasmus Games experience without additional organizational concerns.

Sports & Regulations:

⚽ Futsal

5 players on the field + minimum 2 reserves (maximum 5 reserves)
Match duration: 40 minutes (2 halves of 20 minutes)
15-minute halftime break
1 timeout per half per team (60 seconds)
The clock stops for fouls, free kicks, timeouts, and when the ball is out of play
If the match ends in a draw:
Extra time: 2 halves of 5 minutes
If still tied → penalty shootout

Please note that futsal will be played on an artificial turf field, while official futsal rules will apply.

🏀 Basketball (3x3 format)

3 players on the field + up to 2 reserves (not mandatory)
Match duration: 10 minutes
First team to score 21 points wins
If no team reaches 21 points → the team with the most points wins
If tied → overtime without time limit; first team to score 2 points wins

🏐 Volleyball

6 players on the field + minimum 2 reserves (maximum 8 reserves)
4-set matches (approximately 90–120 minutes)
Sets played to 25 points, with a minimum 2-point lead required to win
3-minute intervals between sets
Technical timeouts of 60 seconds at 8 and 16 points
Maximum 2 timeouts per set per team (30 seconds each)

Two competition categories: Women’s and Men’s

Sprint – 100m
Running – 1500m
