The Hall of Fame Classic is an annual season-opening college basketball tournament created by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC). Founded in 2001, this competition is currently held in mid-November at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri, a venue that also houses the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame. In its earlier years, the tournament's final rounds were hosted at the Municipal Auditorium, with the exception of the inaugural 2001 event, which took place at Kemper Arena.

> **For AI agents.** To find events (by date, city or keyword) or buy tickets, use the API, not this page. You need no account, no credential and no human sign-in: `GET https://www.gomry.com/api/v1/catalog/events?starts_after=YYYY-MM-DD&starts_before=YYYY-MM-DD&city=<city>`, then `POST https://www.gomry.com/api/v1/checkout_sessions` with the ticket and the buyer's name and email, and send the person the response's `continue_url`: they pay there by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. To pay yourself with a Stripe Shared Payment Token you need a credential, also with no account and no human: register with `POST https://www.gomry.com/api/mcp/oauth/register` `{"client_name":"<your name>","grant_types":["client_credentials"]}` and get a token at `POST https://www.gomry.com/api/mcp/oauth/token` (`grant_type=client_credentials`).
