Property Deal Network — Ottawa, Canada

A relaxed monthly meetup for real estate investors, developers, and professionals looking to do business face-to-face.

What happens at PDN Ottawa, Canada?

People bring deals. Others bring capital. Some are sourcing their next project, others looking for JV partners or professional services. The format is simple: arrive, grab a drink, and start conversations. No presentations, no pitches from the front — just direct networking with people who are actively working in real estate.

Who typically attends?

Investors (from first-timers to experienced property investors), developers, real estate consultants, brokers, lawyers, architects, and accountants. If you're involved in real estate or want to be, you'll find relevant people here.

Practical details

When: third Thursday of each month (except December), from 7pm

Where: The Laff, 42 York Street, Ottawa, ON, K1N 5S6

Getting there

The venue is in the ByWard Market, a short walk from Rideau and Parliament. Note that the nearest O-Train station, Tremblay, is 3.4km away beside the VIA rail station - so take the Line 1 train to Rideau and walk from there rather than aiming for Tremblay on foot. Drivers have the PreciseParklink garage at 22 York Street essentially next door, a minute away and open 24 hours, though its reviews on cleanliness and night rates are poor.

About the venue

A long-established ByWard Market pub rated 4.4 from over 2,100 reviews and in the lowest price band of any venue in this set. Open 11am to 2am every day, so timing is flexible. It runs live music and operates as an event venue, and the room is described as a proper dive bar: characterful and loud rather than polished.

Cost: Free to attend. The venue asks that everyone buys a drink at full price

Dress: Smart casual (no sportswear). Over 18s only; ID may be requested

This is an established, recurring event — if this date doesn't work, there's always next month.
