The Iowa Cubs are a Minor League Baseball team based in Des Moines, Iowa. Serving as the Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, the team competes in the International League and takes its name directly from its Major League Baseball parent club. Fans attending a game can see the team play at Principal Park, which has served as their home stadium since 1992. Prior to moving to Principal Park, the Iowa Cubs played their home games at Sec Taylor Stadium, which hosted the team from 1969 until 1991.
