<p>Everyone has an opinion on where AI is headed. On October 7, six of New York's sharpest AI voices have to defend theirs, live, in front of a room that votes.</p><p>Savills and Manifest are hosting AI Thunderdome, a debate night where founders, investors, operators and other leaders from the AI community go head-to-head on the most provocative questions in AI.</p><p>Exclusive judges and debaters to be announced soon.</p><p>How it works:</p><ul><li><p>Three rounds of one-on-one debates, 10 to 15 minutes each</p></li><li><p>Each debater opens with a short position, then it's live back-and-forth and rebuttals</p></li><li><p>A panel of three judges scores every round on argument strength, delivery and persuasion</p></li><li><p>The audience votes for its favorite debater after each round</p></li><li><p>Bonus round: we open a fourth topic to the floor, and two attendees volunteer to debate it live</p></li><li><p>The judges and the room cast a final vote to crown the debate night winner and the audience favorite</p></li></ul><p>Schedule:</p><p>6:00 PM: Doors open, drinks and appetizers<br>6:30 PM: Welcome from Savills and Manifest, and judges introduced<br>6:40 PM: Debates begin<br>7:45 PM: Winners announced, then networking<br>8:30 PM: Event ends</p><p>The debate is only half the night. Before the first round and after the winners are crowned, you'll have time over drinks to connect with the debaters, judges and a curated room of founders, investors and C-suite leaders from across New York's AI and business communities.
