Soul Jam Society

Soul Jam Society is a live music experience and cultural movement dedicated to celebrating and nurturing soul music in all its forms — from timeless R&B and neo-soul to the new voices redefining the genre today.

Founded and produced by Gerald Beamon, Soul Jam Society was created to fill a void in Los Angeles nightlife: a consistent, high-quality space where artistry, authenticity, and community converge. Each week, we showcase rising local talent alongside national recording artists, blending live performances, open mic moments, and creative storytelling to keep the soul of music alive.

Our debut event takes place November 20, 2025, at Club Bahia in Echo Park, featuring platinum-selling R&B group Public Announcement. From there, the series expands into a recurring platform that uplifts independent artists, spotlights nonprofits and youth programs, and fosters genuine cultural connection through live performance.

Soul Jam Society is more than a concert — it’s a movement rooted in culture, collaboration, and community impact. Our mission is to create a sustainable home for soul music in Los Angeles while inspiring future generations to carry the legacy forward.
