## About

<p>AI is becoming part of almost every industry, and many of us are figuring out what that means for our careers. What skills are worth learning? How can we use AI in our work? And if we want to build something ourselves, where do we start?</p><p>Join AI with Purpose for a welcoming, hands-on workshop with students, early-career professionals, AI researchers, and curious people from all kinds of backgrounds.</p><p>We'll look at how AI is changing the way we work, walk through a practical example of an AI-assisted workflow, and then give you a chance to explore an idea of your own. In small groups, you'll think through how AI could help solve a problem in your field or support a community you care about.</p><p>No technical background is needed. If you're already working in AI, you'll have a chance to share what you've learned, meet people with different perspectives, and help others get started.</p><p><strong>What you'll get out of it</strong></p><p>You'll leave with a clearer sense of how AI could be useful in your field, an initial project idea to keep developing, and new connections with people who are excited to learn and build together.</p><p>We'll also introduce AI with Purpose, a growing community making AI education more accessible and creating opportunities to learn, find mentorship, and build technology for social good.</p><p>Whether you're curious about AI, thinking about your next career move, or already working on an idea, we'd love to have you join us!</p><p><strong>Who should attend?</strong></p><p>Everyone is welcome, especially students, early-career professionals, women and underrepresented groups in technology, AI researchers, and anyone interested in using AI to make a difference.</p><p>No previous coding or AI experience is required.</p><p><strong>Hosted by AI with Purpose</strong></p><hr><p>This event is part of #AIWeekNY by Pulse NYC — a community-led festival celebrating innovation across the AI ecosystem. ## Ticket types

| ticket type id | name | price | currency | buyable now | per order | approval | sales end |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `PElV90Fdg4nasN1i30n4` | In-Person | free | usd | yes | 1–unlimited | no | — |
| `sVF8kXZfCfMw8Hmb2ZNq` | Virtual | free | usd | yes | 1–unlimited | no | — |

Prices exclude the service fee. `buyable now` is a boolean, not a count —
remaining stock is the organizer's information and is not published; create
a checkout session to find out whether a given quantity fits.

## Buying this with an agent

The `ticket type id` column above is `items[].id` below. This body is
complete and can be sent as it stands, with the buyer details replaced:

```
POST https://www.gomry.com/api/v1/checkout_sessions
Authorization: Bearer <token>
API-Version: 2025-09-12
Content-Type: application/json
{
  "items": [
    {
      "id": "PElV90Fdg4nasN1i30n4",
      "quantity": 1
    }
  ],
  "buyer": {
    "name": "Ada Lovelace",
    "email": "ada@example.com"
  }
}
```

The response `totals` is the authoritative price — it includes the service
fee, which is not in the table above and depends on the cart and the
organizer's fee settings. Never compute a total from this document.
