The Fiestecita — open Cuban dancing at Lake Merritt Dance every Monday from 8:45 to 9:30, straight after the evening's two classes.
Forty-five unstructured minutes to use what you just learned, form a wheel with whoever is still standing, and dance for the sake of it. Free with either Monday class, and welcoming if you just want to watch first.
