In just a couple of months, we are executing research projects with international brands like Volvo, Scalapay, Conde Nast and Mondadori, amongst others.
About the role
We’re looking for a full-time Software Engineer, who combines a keen eye for UX/UI design with solid React.js skills.
You will work with a small, close-knit team of top engineers. You will go from 0 to 1 on the core product initiatives. You will be given a lot of autonomy and the chance to learn faster than anywhere else.
We are looking for a rebel with a growth mindset who loves taking ownership, has excellent communication skills, and has a "can-do" attitude towards technical challenges and innovation.
Our stack consists of JavaScript and React in front-end; Python, MongoDB, FastAPI, AWS, Heroku in the back-end.
We have an hybrid setup (office in Milan, Italy) but are OK with full remote setup for exceptional candidates.
What you’ll do
Development: bringing your designs to life through coding, using React.js to create responsive and dynamic user interfaces.
User research: working directly with the Tech lead and UX lead to understand the customer and make decisions on the product that will lead to a better user experience.
User interaction: managing user inputs, ensuring they are effectively processed and integrated with our back-end systems.
Maximize performance: focus on optimizing our application for speed and scalability, making sure our user experience is as smooth as silk.
Your Skills
React.js expertise: strong proficiency in React.js, capable of building complex, responsive UIs.
Technical knowledge: basic understanding of asynchronous requests and handling complex JSON objects.
Aesthetic sense: good design abilities, with an understanding of how to create user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces.
Bonus points:
- Experience handling media streams (both input and output).
- Experience in designing, creating wireframes (Figma) and prototyping cutting-edge features that are intuitive and visually appealing.
Your background
3+ years of relevant experience building web products.
Comfortable with ambiguity.
Excited about wearing multiple hats in a fast-moving environment.
Results-oriented, “can do” attitude, ability to own open-ended projects end-to-end.
Self-driven, self-motivated, fast learner.
Our offer
For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $40k and $65k, plus a competitive stock option package. Base salary is determined by a number of factors such as years and type of previous working experience, expertise and location, amongst others.
