Fankee is the first community-driven music label. It's a music label that allows artists to promote their music by transforming fans into co-owners and record executives.

Our mission is to give artists a real chance to breakthrough in the music world by redefining the rules of music promotion. We help artists go big using a unique mix of web2, web3, and marketing. In our model, fans aren't just listeners - they get a fair share of the music's royalties, building a supportive community that directly benefits from the music they love.

The role

At Fankee, we are on the lookout for a Growth & Community Hacker with a flair for community management. In this role, you will harness your expertise in social media strategy and engagement to not only foster meaningful connections within our community but also to propel our brand's growth. Your primary focus will be on implementing innovative growth strategies, while also being a key player in shaping our online presence and nurturing an inclusive digital community. This unique combination of growth hacking and community management requires a creative, data-driven mindset and a passion for building and engaging with vibrant communities.

How will you make an impact?

  • Strategy Development: Craft and implement growth strategies focused on customer acquisition, retention, and reactivation.

  • Experimentation and Optimization: Design and execute A/B tests, analyze results, and iterate to continually improve performance across various channels.

  • Data Analysis: Use data analytics to drive decisions and measure the effectiveness of growth initiatives.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and engineering teams to align growth strategies with business goals.

  • User Acquisition and Retention: Identify and exploit channels for user acquisition and retention, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and content marketing.

  • Conversion Rate Optimization: Optimize website and funnel conversion rates, including landing pages and user onboarding experiences.

  • Product Marketing: Collaborate with product teams to ensure product features and developments are effectively communicated and contribute to growth objectives.

  • Social Media and Community Engagement: Drive social media strategies and content creation to foster community engagement, ensuring alignment with our brand's values and audience aspirations.

  • Championing Community Engagement: be the bridge between our brand and users across different social media platforms, responding thoughtfully and promptly to comments, messages, and interactions.

  • Creative Problem-Solving: Innovate solutions that blend data insights with imaginative marketing strategies, especially in social media contexts.

  • Effective Communication: Clearly convey data-driven findings and collaborate seamlessly across teams, and engage effectively with the community.

  • Adaptability: Thrive in a changing landscape, adjusting strategies to stay ahead of market trends and community dynamics.

  • Collaborative Mindset: Work harmoniously with diverse teams, including marketing and creative groups, fostering cross-functional success.

  • Marketing Strategy: Develop comprehensive plans that integrate paid, organic, and social media marketing tactics.

  • Social Media Expertise: Proficiency in managing and strategizing for various social media platforms.

  • Metrics Mastery: Solid understanding of marketing and social media KPIs, tracking performance, and deriving insights.

  • Experience: Ideally 2-3 years of relevant experience in growth hacking, digital marketing, or a similar role, with a focus on social media and community engagement.

  • Education: Ideally a university degree in marketing, communications, data science, business analytics, or a related field.

  • Language Skills: A high level of fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Italian is beneficial.

  • Passion for Music: A strong passion for the world of Music and community building.

  • Hands-on Attitude: Someone who is proactive and eager to take on new challenges in a dynamic environment.

The Interview process

At Fankee, our interview process is thoughtfully designed to provide a comprehensive evaluation of candidates while fostering meaningful interactions. This multi-stage journey enables us to uncover your potential fit for the Growth & Community Hacker role within our vibrant environment. The interview process will consist in the following 3 stage:

  • In-depth discussion with the CEO, Giacomo Pellegrini (45 minutes) - Competency Based

  • Team Chat with two Co-Founders (2 x 30 minutes) - Cultural Fit

  • Final Round with CEO, Giacomo Pellegrini (15-30 minutes)
