Important: This is a voluntary position. The UIS executive team operates on a volunteer basis.
Time required: ~4 hours per week (flexible depending on workload)
United Italian Societies (UIS) is looking for a bright, passionate, and positive individual to lead the marketing strategy for UIS Netherlands, managing communication channels and creating content to promote our events, initiatives, and the Italian student community across Dutch universities.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a content strategy for UIS Netherlands across social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn)
Design and publish engaging content (graphics, videos, promotional materials) to promote events and communicate UIS’s mission
Collaborate with other Heads in the Netherlands to support the visibility of mentoring, tutoring, and social activities
Engage with the Italian student community in the Netherlands through digital channels
Coordinate with the Global Head of Marketing to align local campaigns with the broader UIS communication strategy
Who we are looking for:
An Italian student currently enrolled at a university in the Netherlands (or a recent graduate)
A creative and strategic thinker with a passion for marketing, storytelling, and community engagement
Previous experience with social media management and basic design tools (e.g. Canva, CapCut) is a plus
A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong team spirit
