Recruiting: UIS USA Community Officer
Important: this position is voluntary based, the UIS executive team is based on a voluntary work.
Time required: 2 hours per week
United Italian Societies is looking for a bright, passionate and positive individual to drive the growth and development of the UIS community in our USA chapter, fostering a sense of belonging and collaboration among Italian students in the country.
About us:
United Italian Societies (UIS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to connecting, promoting, and supporting Italian university students abroad. We bring together Italian student societies across 7 countries and more than 60 universities, fostering a vibrant community driven by the passion and talent of our volunteers. Founded three years ago, we are now focused on expanding our services and enhancing the events we offer in the regions where we are active. Responsibilities
Support the planning and execution of social events to bring Italian students together. Events may range from informal gatherings such as aperitivi to larger, themed events designed to strengthen community ties.
Innovate and diversify the types of events offered to ensure wide appeal and consistent participation.
Support the relationships with Italian Society presidents, ensuring clear communication of initiatives, updates, and event plans, keeping all stakeholders informed and aligned with UIS goals.
Who we are looking for:
Italian student in a USA university.
Loves to gather people and organise fun events in New York and around the East Coast.
Works well with a team and drives them successfully.
