Spain Head of Marketing
Important: This is a volunteer position. The UIS executive team operates on a voluntary basis.
Time required: 4 hours per week.
United Italian Societies (UIS) Spain is looking for a creative, strategic, and organized individual to join as Head of Marketing.
As the leader of the Marketing Team, you will play a central role in shaping the communication strategy of UIS Spain, increasing its visibility, and ensuring that all activities, events, and initiatives are effectively promoted across multiple channels.
This position offers a unique opportunity to lead the marketing efforts of a national chapter within a fast-growing international network.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of marketing and communication strategies for UIS Spain.
Manage the content calendar for social media (Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms) to ensure consistent and engaging communication.
Coordinate the creation of visual and written materials, collaborating with Marketing Officers and other teams.
Ensure brand consistency across all public communications, in line with UIS global guidelines.
Collaborate with the Global Marketing Team to align on strategy, design templates, and campaign ideas.
Work with the Community and External Relations Teams to promote local events, partnerships, and student initiatives.
Monitor performance (reach, engagement, follower growth) and propose improvements to increase visibility and interaction.
Who We Are Looking For
An Italian student or young professional based in Spain, passionate about marketing, branding, and communication.
A creative thinker with an eye for detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.
Experienced in managing social media platforms and developing digital content.
Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
A collaborative leader who can guide a small team and foster a positive, dynamic working environment.
Experience in marketing, communication, or content creation (e.g., Canva) is highly valued.
