Switzerland External Relations Officer

Important: This is a volunteer position. The UIS executive team operates on a voluntary basis.
Time required: 4 hours per week.

United Italian Societies (UIS) Switzerland is looking for an External Relations Officer to join the External Relations Team, supporting the Head of External Relations in developing partnerships and organizing events with external stakeholders.
This position offers a valuable opportunity to collaborate directly with firms, institutions, and organizations, enhancing the visibility and impact of UIS Switzerland.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the organization of events featuring external speakers, such as professionals, academics, and business leaders.

  • Contribute to building and maintaining relationships with external partners, including companies, institutions, and other organizations.

  • Support communication and coordination with guests and partners to ensure smooth planning and execution of events.

  • Help identify new collaboration opportunities in line with UIS values and objectives.

  • Work closely with the Global External Relations team to align initiatives and share updates.

Who We Are Looking For

  • An Italian student or young professional based in Switzerland, passionate about networking and professional engagement.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and organized mindset.

  • A team player who enjoys working collaboratively and managing multiple projects.

  • Interest or experience in event management, stakeholder relations, or public affairs is a plus.

  • A genuine motivation to help strengthen the bridge between Italian students and external institutions.
