What’s Alactive?
Alactive is redefining how people discover and book experiences when traveling or exploring
new places.
The problem: Right now, if you want to find the best bar, club, or any other experience in a new city, you have to search online, check multiple platforms (Tik Tok, Google, Google Maps,
Instagram, ecc….), read endless reviews, and still might end up somewhere that’s not your vibe.
Our solution:
💡 A platform that allows users to discover and book places based on their personal
tastes—through a TikTok-like scroll app which incorporates other strong features like a super smart search!
Why a tik tok scroll? The reason is because once we suggest the place we want you to feel the
vibe before you go there and we are mostly capable of doing that through a video which
represents the real experience you’ll get!
Where We Are Now
✅ We launched a TikTok-style scroll app with a few hundred users but quickly pivoted to an AI chatbot. The app required Apple’s approval, and using TestFlight hurt retention. Plus, scaling it needed a bigger team. So, we focused on our most valuable feature—the AI suggestions- through a chatbot—perfecting it to build an engaged audience, and it’s working!
✅Launched at Northeastern LDN, and had a retention rate close to 50% among all the global
scholars students.
✅ Now focused on scaling beyond the university and expanding our reach.

🔹 Experienced Software Engineer – Ideally full-stack, but specialization in front-end or
back-end is fine.🔹 Startup Mindset – You’ve built products before, or you’re deeply interested in entrepreneurship.
🔹 Extreme Dedication – We’re looking for someone ready to put their heart and soul into
this—beyond just 40-hour workweeks. This isn’t a job, it’s a mission.
