We have closed a multi-year exclusive partnership with Gruppo Spaggiari Parma – the largest EdTech player in Italy – to outsource to UniOrienta the Academic/Career Guidance of the students and the monetization of students and parents.
Starting in January 2025, our platform will be available to over 1.8M high school students, directly integrated in the largest Learning Management System in Italy, used by 2.6M users every day.
We are the most effective and granular brand loyalty, lead generation, sales and retention tool for universities, service providers and corporate partners with a key interest in engaging with high school students. In fact, within weeks of closing the agreement with Spaggiari we have already closed 60+ agreements with universities and corporate partners in Italy and abroad.
Our team met during their MBA at London Business School and has 10+ years of experience in their career counseling and higher education recruitment space, having already started and scaled successful ventures in this space, including the market leader in Italy for College Counseling services.

About the role:
We are looking for a highly motivated person to join UniOrienta as a Chief of Staff Intern.
As a Chief of Staff at UniOrienta, you will work closely with the Management Team - and specifically with the CEO – Mattia Pastore – and Head of Product – Thomas Buchi – to drive growth and opportunities while building a strong team and processes around them which will allow us to scale fast and make the most of the opportunities ahead of us.
The ideal candidate is proactive and eager to get hands-on experience in product strategy, sales strategy, market research, team management and operations, and is willing to start immediately and provide at least 15 hours per week across the duration of the project.
What you’ll do:
- You will gain a deep understanding of UniOrienta, our business model, the partnership we have closed, and the benefits we have gained from it
From there, alongside our management team, you will:
- Design our Go-To-Market Strategy, focusing on companies with a key interest in recruiting or selling products and services to high school students and their parents
- Define our Product Strategy, in light of usage metrics after lunch as well as our Sales Traction
- Contribute to hiring and onboarding key roles for UniOrienta across Product, Design, Operations and Sales
- Define effective hiring and onboarding processes to ensure we attract and retain top talent
- Identify and keep track of our weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly Key Metrics & KPIs
- Prepare UniOrienta for its next Fundraising Round, including identifying investors, preparing our Pitch Deck and Fundraising Material, as well as getting direct exposure to investors (if interested)
Compensation Information:
We will be offering a competitive stipend/salary since the beginning, and expect to be able to increase it during the internship.
Commitment & Plans:
We are a very flexible team so you can work in accordance to your preferences: days/times, part time/full time, but require at least 15 hours per week. We anticipate that the internship will last approximately 6 months.
At the end of the 6 months internship, if mutually satisfied, you will be invited to continue to work in the team, on a paid role with a competitive salary and substantial ESOP.
The long-terms plan is in fact to hire the intern as a permanent role by the end of their Program with a “Head of” title.
Who you are:
- You have between 6+ months of full-time work experience, ideally in Management Consulting or Investment Banking
- You are fluent in Italian and English
- You are willing to work at least 15+ hours per week for the next 6 months
- You are completing or have recently graduated from a Master Degree or MBA Degree in a top-tier university
- You are looking for a C-Level role and are excited about joining a fast-growing start-up
