Cage The Elephant is an American rock band formed in 2006 in Bowling Green, Kentucky, who later relocated to London in 2008. Their music draws influence from classic rock, 1990s alternative, blues, punk rock, and funk. The band released their self-titled debut album in 2008, featuring radio singles across the United States and the United Kingdom. As of 2017, the lineup included vocalist Matt Shultz, his brother Brad Shultz, Nick Bockrath, Matthan Minster, bassist Daniel Tichenor, and drummer Jared Champion. Former lead guitarist Lincoln Parish performed with the group from 2006 until 2013.
