## About

Connecting with peers while sharing experiences about innovation in legal practice.

Legaltech Breakfast brings together lawyers and legal professionals who are experimenting with technology and AI. Whether they are just starting or already running pilots. No vendors, no sales pitches. The event is only for practitioners sharing what works, what doesn’t, and what questions they have.

The event is a safe environment to share ideas. We apply the Chatham House Rule: you can use what you hear, but nothing is attributed to anyone. You can speak openly about your real experience.

What you take away

After the event you walk away with new connections and practical insights from peers facing the same questions. Every participant gets a clearer view of which tools and approaches are worth, and connections with a small group of legal innovators.

The format

We use a Lean Agenda. At the start, participants propose the topics they want to discuss, and the group votes on two. That way the conversation stays on what matters to you, with enough time to go into depth.

8:15 Walk in and breakfast

8:30 Opening and introductions

8:45 Topic proposals and selection

9:00 Discussion

10:00 Wrap up and key takeaways

10:15 Close

Who it’s for

Lawyers and legal professionals, in house or at law firms, who are using AI or curious to start.

A small, selected group

Each breakfast is limited to 10 participants. A small group is what makes the conversation open, personal and useful, so every seat counts.

That’s why attendance is by approval. When you apply, we’ll ask you to answer two short questions. They help us make sure the breakfast is the right fit for you and that you’ll bring something valuable to the others around the table.

Practical details

Language: English

Cost: free, breakfast included

After registering you’ll be contacted for attendance approval

About Legal Sandbox

Legaltech Breakfast is organised by Legal Sandbox. We connect the people driving innovation in the legal sector so that good ideas move into practice faster, and we’re building a community where legal innovators can learn from each other along the way.

## Ticket types

| ticket type id | name | kind | price | currency | buyable now | per order | approval | sales end |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `Y2pg7IpL2p06yzsEJdpW` | General Admission | ticket | free | eur | yes | 1–unlimited | required | — |

Prices exclude the service fee. `buyable now` is a boolean, not a count —
remaining stock is the organizer's information and is not published; create
a checkout session to find out whether a given quantity fits.

## Buying this for a person

Two ways, depending on what you can do:

- You can pay with a Stripe Shared Payment Token: buy it yourself through the
  API (see "Buying this through the API" below, when this event has it).
- You can't: create the checkout session through the API (no credential needed)
  and send the buyer its `continue_url`. They pay there with a card, Apple Pay or
  Google Pay and no Gomry account.
  Or send the buyer the link for the ticket they want below. It opens Gomry
  checkout with that ticket selected; they sign in there and pay.

- General Admission (free): https://www.gomry.com/event/Legaltech-Breakfast-ESPR674XznnlL9lUP969/getTickets?utm_medium=web&utm_campaign=catalogApi&ticket_type=Y2pg7IpL2p06yzsEJdpW

## Registration questions

| question id | question | type | required | answerable | options |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `mszvzeqhrndqzsw7z8los` | Company | text | yes | yes | — |

Send these back as `attendee_answers` (`{ question_id, value }`). A missing
required answer keeps a checkout session unpayable. `dropdown` and
`multipleChoice` answers must match one of the listed options exactly.

## Buying this through the API, end to end

This ticket is free, so any agent can buy it end to end: no payment token.
Call `complete` with a body of `{}`, without `payment_data`.

The `ticket type id` column above is `items[].id` below. This body is
complete and can be sent as it stands, with the buyer details replaced:

```
POST https://www.gomry.com/api/v1/checkout_sessions
Authorization: Bearer <token>   (omit it if you have no credential)
API-Version: 2025-09-12
Content-Type: application/json
{
  "items": [
    {
      "id": "Y2pg7IpL2p06yzsEJdpW",
      "quantity": 1
    }
  ],
  "buyer": {
    "name": "Ada Lovelace",
    "email": "ada@example.com"
  },
  "attendee_answers": [
    {
      "question_id": "mszvzeqhrndqzsw7z8los",
      "value": "<answer>"
    }
  ]
}
```

The response `totals` is the authoritative price — it includes the service
fee, which is not in the table above and depends on the cart and the
organizer's fee settings. Never compute a total from this document.

Quoting and `continue_url` need no credential. Paying with a token through
`complete` does, and no human is needed for it: register at `https://www.gomry.com/api/mcp/oauth/register`
for the `client_credentials` grant. Full flow: https://www.gomry.com/auth.md
