Davy Knowles is a Manx blues guitarist and singer who currently tours as a solo artist. He was formerly part of the blues-rock band Back Door Slam, playing lead guitar and singing on their debut album, Roll Away, before releasing music under the name Davy Knowles and Back Door Slam. Drawing musical influence from blues acts such as Rory Gallagher, Dire Straits, Peter Green, and Cream, his music is also influenced by Celtic sounds. Knowles has previously toured with artists including Jeff Beck, Joe Satriani, Chickenfoot, and The Rhythm Devils.
