The King Tornado are the athletic teams representing King University, located in Bristol, Tennessee. They compete in intercollegiate sports at the NCAA Division II level, primarily participating in Conference Carolinas since the 2011–12 academic year. The Tornado have also been a member of the National Christian College Athletic Association, competing as an independent in the Mid-East Region of Division I. Previously, the teams competed as an NCAA Division II Independent from 2009–10 to 2010–11, and in the Appalachian Athletic Conference of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics from 2001–02 to 2008–09.
