Privacy at Gomry
Gomry is event ticketing software. We handle personal data because events involve people: organizers who run them and attendees who register for them. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect and why.

What we collect
For attendees: the name and email address used to register, any answers given to an organizer's registration questions, and ticket and check-in records. For organizers: account and organization details, payout and tax information required to pay you, and usage data from the dashboard. We also collect standard technical data such as IP address and device information.
How we use it
To deliver tickets and registrations, let organizers manage their guest lists and check people in, process payments and payouts, prevent fraud and abuse, provide support, and improve the product. We do not sell personal data.
Who we share it with
With the event organizer whose event you registered for, because running an event requires knowing who is attending. With the service providers that operate the platform, including Stripe for payments and our cloud and communications providers. And where the law requires it. Each provider is bound to use the data only to provide their service to us.
Payments
Card details are never stored by Gomry. Payments are processed by Stripe, which handles card data directly under its own terms and security certifications. We store the record of a payment — amount, currency, status and the ticket it relates to — not the instrument used to make it.
If you are an organizer
You are the controller of your attendees' data and Gomry is your processor. You decide what to ask on your registration forms and how to communicate with your attendees, and you are responsible for having a lawful basis for doing so. Gomry provides the tools, including export and deletion, to help you meet those obligations.
How long we keep it
For as long as the account or the event relationship requires, and afterwards only as long as needed for legal, tax and accounting obligations — financial records in particular must be retained for a period set by law. Deleted records are removed from active systems and expire from backups on a rolling schedule.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may request access to your data, correction of it, deletion, a portable copy, or restriction of how it is used, and you may object to certain processing. Email us and we will action the request. If your data was given to an event organizer, we may direct the request to them as the controller.
Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary to sign you in and keep the site working, plus analytics cookies that tell us how the product is used. You can control non-essential cookies through the consent banner and your browser settings.
AI features and agents
Gomry offers AI features, including an in-product assistant and an MCP server that lets an assistant act on an organization's data with that organization's permission. These act on your own data to answer your own questions; your content is not used to train third-party foundation models. Public event pages may be read by AI crawlers, which our robots.txt permits for answering questions and declines for model training.
