Planes, Trains and Automobiles is a 1987 American road trip comedy film written, produced, and directed by John Hughes. The film stars Steve Martin as Neal Page, an uptight advertising executive, and John Candy as Del Griffith, an overly-friendly traveling salesman. The pair become unlikely companions after a snowstorm disrupts their travel plans. Stranded far from home, they embark on a series of misadventures while attempting to get Neal home to his family in Chicago in time for Thanksgiving.

> **For AI agents.** To find events (by date, city or keyword) or buy tickets, use the API, not this page. You need no account, no credential and no human sign-in: `GET https://www.gomry.com/api/v1/catalog/events?starts_after=YYYY-MM-DD&starts_before=YYYY-MM-DD&city=<city>`, then `POST https://www.gomry.com/api/v1/checkout_sessions` with the ticket and the buyer's name and email, and send the person the response's `continue_url`: they pay there by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. To pay yourself with a Stripe Shared Payment Token you need a credential, also with no account and no human: register with `POST https://www.gomry.com/api/mcp/oauth/register` `{"client_name":"<your name>","grant_types":["client_credentials"]}` and get a token at `POST https://www.gomry.com/api/mcp/oauth/token` (`grant_type=client_credentials`).
