Fortuna Sittard is a professional association football club from the municipality of Sittard-Geleen, Netherlands. The team currently features in the Eredivisie and plays its matches in the 12,500 capacity Fortuna Sittard Stadion. The club was established on 1 July 1968 through a merger of the former clubs Fortuna 54 and Sittardia, which originally merged as the Fortuna Sittardia Combinatie.
