# Rochester Knighthawks

The original Rochester Knighthawks were a professional box lacrosse team based in Rochester, New York, in the United States. Operating from 1995 to 2019, the team played their home games at the Blue Cross Arena at the War Memorial. The Knighthawks were members of the Major Indoor Lacrosse League from 1995 to 1997. Following this, they joined the National Lacrosse League, where they competed as members starting from the league's inaugural 1998 season.
