Club Tigres de la Universidad Aut3noma de Nuevo Le3n, commonly known as Tigres UANL, is a professional Mexican association football club. Based in the Monterrey metropolitan area of Nuevo Le3n, the team represents the Autonomous University of Nuevo Le3n (UANL). Tigres UANL competes in Liga MX, which is the top division of Mexican football. Originally founded in 1960 as Club Deportivo Universitario de Nuevo Le3n, the club adopted its current name in 1967. The team plays its home matches at Estadio Universitario.
