# UIC Flames

The UIC Flames are the intercollegiate athletic teams representing the University of Illinois Chicago, an institution located in Chicago, Illinois. These teams compete in intercollegiate sports at the Division I level of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Since the 2022–23 academic year, the UIC Flames have primarily competed as a member of the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC). Spectators attending a UIC Flames event can see University of Illinois Chicago teams competing in Division I intercollegiate sports.
