ISSNAF DMV Chapter Annual Event

This annual gathering is our flagship event and a wonderful opportunity to connect and reconnect with fellow Italian researchers, scientists, and scholars from across the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area.

Join us as we:

• Connect with new and familiar faces in our vibrant community.

• Plan for an even more impactful and engaging year ahead in 2026.

For the 2025 Annual Meeting, we are guests at Gallaudet University. This is the only university in the world dedicated to the education of deaf students. It is a fully bilingual environment in American Sign Language (ASL) and English, where both languages are used for learning, communication, and campus life.

The event will be held in the Multipurpose Room in the King Jordan Student Academic Center. Use the pedestrian entrance across from Union Market (Sixth Street NE, DC), or the entrance at 800 Florida Ave. NE, DC, which is also for cars. If asked, say that you are visitors of the VL2 Center for an event.

Parking is available at Union Market and on 6th Street. You can also park on campus in the parking facilities, but you must purchase the electronic day pass for $10. Link to purchase the pass.
