The Silicon Valley Fellowship is a program tailored for tech enthusiasts, aspiring startup founders, researchers, and professionals eager to truly understand how the world's capital of innovation works and accelerate their careers.

Thanks to our partnership with the Silicon Valley Study Tour, this program has not only ignited inspiration but also successfully guided over 800 alumni to the heart of Silicon Valley over the past 20 years, spanning 50+ editions. Over the years, a consistent theme emerges: alumni return home with transformed mindsets and fresh ideas. Many have subsequently launched new companies, embarked on academic pursuits, or secured job positions in Silicon Valley.

To know more about this initiative, have a look at the interview with Paolo Marenco: lessons learned in 20 years in Silicon Valley.
Partnering with the Thiel Fellowship (The Thiel Fellowship gives $100,000 to young people who want to build new things instead of sitting in a classroom) and Z Fellows (Z Fellows is a one-week program where you take sick days to get $10,000 and mentorship from founders of billion+ dollar companies to work on a company), we strive to create a thriving community and inspire the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs.
Montgomery Street is Gomry’s Media Company, created with the objective of disseminating tech and entrepreneurial culture, with a Silicon Valley focus, through newsletters, podcasts, interviews, events, and training courses.

Through the Next Gen Fund by Gomry, we're empowering the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs. Offering partial to full funding for covering the program's costs, flights, and/or accommodation (possibly at the Gomry House). Every application is unique, and we'll assess each on its individual merit and financial need until all spots are filled or the budget is exhausted.

A related event is scheduled on December 29th 2023: the Winter Tech Gala, reserved for the Gomry and FCM community, celebrates the efforts of the Carla Mercurio Foundation in empowering emerging talents within the tech ecosystem.

This is an exclusive gala event set in one of Rome's biggest and most historic private mansions: Palazzo Colonna. With a highly selected guest list and investors from Silicon Valley in attendance, this gathering promises to be a hub for knowledge exchange, networking, and potential collaborations and a tribute to Italian innovation, providing a unique opportunity to engage with some of the brightest minds in the tech industry.

The Foundation is committed to continuing to provide scholarships in the STEM field and to activate specific training courses in the same sector.

Among its past activities, the Carla Mercurio Foundation has committed to helping exceptional students in need to pursue the Silicon Valley Fellowship and attend a life-changing experience that, in the past 20 years, has enabled hundreds of young people to reach the next step in their careers.

Here there is a testimonial of a fellow who won one of those scholarships to attend the Silicon Valley Fellowship: Angelica, from Italy to Stanford on a mission to transform healthcare with AI

Talk with Danielle, a VC investor at 1517 Fund, managing $160M in committed capital, and previously co-founder of the Thiel Fellowship, a program that, over a decade, has welcomed 200+ founders from renowned companies like Ethereum, Figma, Luminar Technologies, and Scale AI. The alumni have founded over 30 firms valued at over $1 billion, with nearly 10 becoming billionaires. The Thiel Fellowship, in conjunction with Z Fellows, have been the main drivers and inspiration for the Silicon Valley Fellowship.
