Ever heard of a story slam? It’s a night of real-life tales told live—funny, sad, spooky, wild, or just plain unforgettable.

We’ll give you a theme (check the event title!), and you’ve got 5–7 minutes to wow us with your true story.

While you’re here, enjoy mulled wine, cozy drinks, and snacks.

### 🗣️ WANT TO TELL A STORY?

Great! Just follow the rules below.

#### ✅ DO:

* Tell a real story – Something that happened to you.

Keep it between *5–7 minutes**.

If you go over, we’ll *flash a light** at you.

Keep going? We’ll *ring a bell**.

For every extra minute, *1 point is deducted** from your score.

Make sure your story has a beginning, middle, and end*.

* Include stakes—why we should care.

* Be entertaining. Be real.

#### ❌ DON’T:

* No essays. No rants. No life philosophy.

This is not group therapy.

* No notes, no paper, no reading.

Speak from the heart.

* No complaining. Turn your drama into a narrative with a point.
