About Event
The 2025 ceremony will honor Leon Rogers, celebrated stand-up comedian, actor, radio personality, and one of Chicago’s most influential voices in entertainment. The event will be hosted by Damon Williams, the 2024 award recipient and Godfather of the Chicago comedy community.
This year’s celebration will take place on January 18th 2026, at the stunning Alhambra Palace Restaurant in Chicago, IL, with valet parking available for all guests.
A Night Celebrating Legacy, Laughter, and Chicago Excellence
The Bernie Mac Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes artists who continue the legacy of uplifting their communities through comedy, culture, and consistent excellence. With deep roots in Chicago’s creative scene, the award also serves to preserve the memory and spirit of one of the city’s greatest entertainers.
