Beginning Salsa Partnerwork — Thursdays

Thursdays 8:00 to 9:00 PM at The Get Down in Japantown, San Jose. Salsa partnerwork from the beginning — timing, the basic, and the lead-and-follow connection that makes social dancing possible. The Get Down is a street-styles studio first (breaking, house, locking, waacking), and that shows in how they teach partnerwork: real attention to groove and musicality, not just patterns. No partner required. Street parking is free after 6 PM. Note that classes run as progressive sessions rather than casual drop-ins, so the group moves forward together. Trials and drop-ins are $30 and are arranged by email in advance — message the studio to check space before you come.
